History
Promise Consulting was officially born on the 25th May 2005 in Edinburgh, Scotland! However, before this, Simon Penney had undertaken volunteer work in Sri Lanka in the immediate aftermath of the Asian Tsunami. The Scottish Institute for Sustainable Technology (SISTEC), Simon’s first commercial client, commissioned him to undertake a quality control check of a waste audit.
It has always been Promise’s aim to provide top quality professional advice to commercial clients. For example, work has been carried out in the UK helping the Thames Gateway London Partnership respond to the London waste strategy, and the South East Centre for the Built Environment deal with construction and demolition wastes management. But, above and beyond this, we also want to provide services at cost to those working to bring relief and development to some of the poorest communities on the planet.

Head office is currently based in beautiful British Columbia, Canada. However we have associates in a number of different countries, and we also have formal representatives in Peru, Rwanda, Uganda, the United Kingdom and the Philipinnes
