The Philippine Community Fund
The Philippine Community Fund is a registered charity and is the main fundraising arm supporting the Philippine charitable aims, objectives and goals. Its mission is to permanently improve the quality of life for the poorest Filipino communities, through education, nutrition, health, medical and family enhancement programs, regardless of religion, race or political boundaries. It has a vision to free every Filipino child and their family from the effects of poverty.
Product Details
Promise Consulting Inc. will be launching these products through fundraisers at a school or organization near you. The products (for example, handbags, totes, aprons, etc) are made from various recycled materials initially from landfills in the Philippines, with the potential to expand to landfills throughout the global south. Most of the materials are gathered by families who live directly on these landfills. Promise Chasers, in conjunction with Philippine Community Fund, is currently in the process of developing other product lines. All the products are made on site by local families and artisans. Every time you purchase one of these products, you are helping to reduce poverty for the families and children living in these landfills as well as raising money for an educational organization, local team or group or business.
Fundraisers
Most fundraisers in educational institutions sell food, chocolates, magazines, etc. and that is where it ends. Promise Chasers can be sold through your organization but at the same time, Promise Consulting offers with the products, educational / informative materials that can be used to help raise social awareness and teach social responsibility to our children and community. As well, children can become part of a community that helps in preserving the environment. Your organization will make 10% return on all the sales, all while helping raise money for the people living in poverty on these landfills.
